The Wanderers

watching

Went to see this play completely blind, and indeed was a bit surprised when I found myself surrounded by jews at a jewish play. I hope nobody there noticed or took offence at my watermelon earrings. Free Palestine!

The play was sad, deep, sweet and often bitterly funny, and beautifully staged. The story captures the despair boredom in marriage (for men) and boredom in domesticity (for women), reinforcing my idea that we need new scripts to live by.

What's this

This is where I keep track of the things that I read, watch, listen to and make. It's kind of my blog-pinterest-twitter and bookmark folder all in one. I keep it mainly for myself, because I have a bad memory, but it's public because I'm generous like that.
