reading

I just spent three days at one of my dearest friends' death bed and it will forever be the saddest three days of my life. I held his hand, and I knew he could hear me, so I decided to spend the time I had with him reading something he would love. Calvino and my friend have so much in common: beautiful souls who loved and lived words.

[…]one man who both condemns and is condemned. With half of his head he condemns himself to capital punishment, and with the other half he enters the noose and breathes his last.

What's this

This is where I keep track of the things that I read, watch, listen to and make. It's kind of my blog-pinterest-twitter and bookmark folder all in one. I keep it mainly for myself, because I have a bad memory, but it's public because I'm generous like that.
