Either/Or

reading

Imagine a book that sounds like it was written about you, your first (unrequited) love, its exact mechanics and the exact insane things it made you do. That's The Idiot (Elif's, not Fyodor's), to me. I had somehow missed the sequel, Either / Or, and I'm happy I didn't miss it any longer.

Of course, you couldn’t have a party without alcohol; I understood this now. I understood the reason. The reason was that people were intolerable. […] Juho was talking about different research into alcoholism that people were doing in Finland. Why was nobody researching the more direct issue of how to make people less intolerable?

What's this

This is where I keep track of the things that I read, watch, listen to and make. It's kind of my blog-pinterest-twitter and bookmark folder all in one. I keep it mainly for myself, because I have a bad memory, but it's public because I'm generous like that.
